Almost as soon as he made it through law school, Matt Palentchar decided it was a good time to head to Florida to begin his career as a lawyer. He passed the Florida bar exam and immediately caught on with a general practice law firm in Naples, where he practiced in many areas, including real estate and estate planning, as well as civil, criminal and business law. He tired of the law firm grind pretty quickly, however, and went off to form his own firm, Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., P.A, in 2005. He ran that firm until 2010, when a series of personal issues and a life threatening illness forced him to leave Florida and regroup for a while.
Matt Palentchar is nothing if not tough, however, and it wasn’t long before he became well enough to return to Florida, where he founded Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC in St. Petersburg. He now lives there with his wife Heather and their two dogs, as well as a new appreciation for what he has accomplished in life. That is why Matt spends so much of his free time volunteering for CASA as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litum for disadvantaged children. It’s also why his current firm takes a more specific focus on real estate transactions and property law. Over the past few years, Matt Palentchar has represented hundreds of lenders, purchasers and sellers in complex commercial transactions.
